About us
Foundation NewGeneration is a youth-led, non-profit organization committed to defending human rights, promoting democratic values, and empowering civic leadership in Latin America. Based in the Netherlands and operating across borders, we support individuals and movements that confront authoritarianism, censorship, and systemic injustice—especially in countries like Cuba, Venezuela, and Nicaragua.
We believe that meaningful change starts with informed, courageous citizens. That’s why we focus on civic education, leadership training, legal support for political prisoners, and emergency assistance for activists and independent journalists. Our work bridges grassroots action with international advocacy, amplifying the voices of those too often silenced.
Founded by a collective of Latin American exiles and European allies, Foundation NewGeneration is more than an organization—it’s a platform for solidarity, hope, and resistance. We are building networks of young people who are not only imagining a freer future, but working to make it real.

We stand with Liberty.
In-depth insights from seasoned curators.
At Foundation NewGeneration, we stand with every activist who risks prison for raising their voice, every journalist who defies censorship to tell the truth, and every young leader who dares to imagine a democratic future. We stand with the families of political prisoners, with exiles rebuilding their lives in foreign lands, and with students demanding dignity in the face of repression.
To stand with liberty is to act. It means providing tools, training, and emergency support. It means exposing injustice, defending the silenced, and connecting voices across borders. It means believing that real change begins with courageous citizens—and that solidarity can turn resistance into transformation.
We stand with liberty—because without freedom, there is no justice. Without justice, there is no peace.
